Before peel
(Day 1)
|
DAY 1
-
Got the kids settled and decided I needed to try the peel
-
Started with the pH face wash; put the barrier cream around my mouth
-
Wasn't sure how strong it would be so left it only on for 2 minutes and 45 seconds
-
Started to sting after 30 seconds; really intense around my chin
-
Took a shower and my face was red the rest of the evening; seemed really dry too
-
Some stinging remained afterward, but nothing intolerable
DAY 2
-
Woke up with my face dry and red
-
No peeling yet although my face is reeeally red, especially about the chin and mouth
-
Used the nourishing cream about 10:30am
-
Used the pH balancing wash at night and more nourishing cream
DAY 3
-
Used pH wash and nourishing cream in morning
-
Chin and mouth were very dried; felt a bit like a mask
-
My forehead and cheeks loot completely unaffected – not sure what's going on there
-
Nose is dry but not peeling
-
Washed again in the evening and used more nourishing cream
-
Noticed right before bed that my chin was starting to peel and also a little on my inner cheeks
DAY 4
-
More pH cleanser and nourishing cream in the morning
-
Chin is really peeling but nowhere else
-
New skin on my chin looks good!
DAY 5
-
More pH cleanser and lots of nourishing cream in the morning
-
Saw a lot of peeling about chin and inner cheeks by 11am
-
Nose and between eyebrows is dry, no peeling though
-
Forehead and cheeks definitely not being affected
-
Little bit of peeling on nose by late afternoon
