Homepeel's Flakey Skin Remover removes flakey skin, as it's name suggests. Many Homepeel products use AHAs (alpha hydroxy acid), BHAs (beta hydroxy acid) and fruit enzymes. By using these active ingredients, Homepeel products accelerate the skin's natural exfoliation process.
Your skin is constantly in a state of renewal. As new skin is created, old skin dies and moves to the surface to be pushed off.
The process of natural skin renewal generally takes 28 days.
However, the active ingredients in Homepeel products can significantly speed this process.
During our product testing, the Homepeel team discovered that many current exfoliators use large abrasives.
For example, bits of oatmeal are often added to products as an exfoliator.
Unfortunately, these large particular exfoliators often do more harm than good.
Skin cells are quite small, and large particular exfoliators generally end up digging into your skin.
But Homepeel's Flakey Skin Remover is different.
It uses the same abrasive you’d find in microdermabrasion, an abrasive called corundum crystal.
One last note on exfoliation: if you are using a product, such as one that contains AHAs,
to speed up the natural exfoliation process, using an effective product like the Flaky Skin Remover is vital.
If you don’t remove those dead skin cells regularly, they can clog up your pores and dull your skin.
At Homepeel, the health and safety of your skin is our highest priority. While all Homepeel products are tested and are designed to offer salon quality treatments for a fraction of the price, they may not be suitable for everyone. Some of our products have strong active ingredients and may not be appropriate for you. Please review our "Do Not Use" list to make sure that Homepeel products are right for you.
